  1. Step One

    Go to the start option and select the Run command.

  2. Step Two

    Type “Services.msc” and click on “OK”.

  3. Step Three

    Look for SQL server i.e. SQL Express.

  4. Step Four

    If the status shows that it is not started yet then start it manually.

  5. Step Five

    Click on “Start”, to start the process.

  6. Step Six

    As the Service control Pop up gets closed on its own, then the user can see in the following screen with status as Started.

    Users will now have to log in to the Sage application, they can easily log into Sage ACCPAC.

  • If Sage application can get connected to database, then switch on firewall.

  • Inspect the Server
  • Start the Server, and type ‘services.msc’
  • The Services Management Window will appear
  • In the Right Hand Pane, Find the SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER)
  • When it Displays the status “Running” and the “Startup” type “Automatic”
  • If it does not display the Status, then that is the main issue
  • Restart the device by right clicking on the SQL Service or even one can restart from the drop down menu, to solve the Error
  • To Log In as Portion of Service, check the credentials, if the Server does not Start

Method #1: Check SQL Server
