Failed To Create the Licence Service
Causes:
Sage 50 Accounts Error the Licence File is Invalid occurs when the user is using Sage 50 Accounting Subscription.
Solution:
Step 1: Run Administration Account in Sage
- In Sage Account, Right Click on Run as Administrator
- Choose Properties
- Select Compatibility Tab
- Privilege Level Will Open, Click on the checkbox to run as admin, Select OK
Step 2: Change Your Regional Settings to the United Kingdom
- Choose Windows Key + R
- Type ‘int.cpl’ and click OK
- In Formats tab change your regional settings to English (United Kingdom)
- Click OK, then select location tab
- Restart the computer and check if the error still occurs
Step 3: Reset The Licence Information
- Close Sage 50
- Rename the Folder C:\Program Data\Sage\SDK Licence to C:\Program Data\Sage\SDK Licence OLD
- Go to C:\Program Data\Sage\Accounts and delete sage.usr file
- Open Sage Accounts and Re-enter the licence information
