Method 5: Remove and Reinstall Pervasive Actian

  • The User has to close the Sage 50 Accounting US. Edition
  • Enter The Control Panel and click OK by Clicking Window + R Keys together
  • Choose the Program and Features
  • The User has to uninstall the Actian PSQL Version 13 Workgroup R2 The Pervasive PSQL Workgroup Engine is renamed the as the database engine name
  • Close The Control Panel
  • Choose Windows +R keys then Enter C:/ and select OK
  • Delete the folder named pvswarch and pvsw
  • Delete the PSQL_v[Version Number]_ install.log
  • Search C:/ Windows
  • Rename Pervasive Software to OldPervasive Software
  • The User has to search for C:\ Program Files or C:\ Program Files (x86)
  • Rename the Actian Folder to OLDActian
  • Search C:/Program Files (x86) \ Common Files
  • Close the System and Press Windows + R
  • Enter Ragedit and Click OK
  • Search the Computer and Export
  • The Registry Backup has to be saved to the desktop
  • The User has to look for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ Software or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node
  • Select the Pervasive Software
  • Type PEYX489ZK
  • Close the Registry Editor and Open Sage 50
  • The Software can be Activated Successfully
